Sculptures
The world premiere exhibition of “RETURN OF THE SWANS” a mixed-media sculpture, took place in Montreal in August, 2008. The piece, which depicts two swans, one resting and one flying, under a blown- glass sun, was a collaborative work by three generations of artists-Academy trained Czech painter Stanislav Stanek, his son Ivan, and grandson Michal. The work represents an artistic heritage passed down from father to son, each specializing in his own medium.
"Dad, how about we'll make a sculpture together??? You design it, I forged it, Mike will make hand-blow glass to it, all three of us collaborated on it! You love a swans, how about return of the swans they always return to your pond." So, sketch and model we made. It gave us a thought to make a bigger sculpture "Return of the swans" and also thought for a documentary movie about three generations of artists collaborating together on one sculpture: "My blues and greens" we named the movie.

John ask me if I could make a weathervane for his Galley Hatch Restaurant as we were talking on the bar. "What you vision on the roof?" I asked him. He said: "I want served Mediterranean Sea fish, sketch for me a fish floating in the air." OK. I had a lot of fun to do it.
